This form serves as both an application for funding as well as a participation agreement. To learn more about the STARS Computing Corps, read the STARS Participation Presentation and the STARS Scaling Proposal and attend a STARS New Members Webinar.

3.4 REGIONAL ACTIVITIES
Note: We have an annual budget of $5,000 total for the whole alliance to support regional activities. As such, we cannot support end-of-year celebrations for your SLC (although, we think it’s a great idea for you to have one). The goal is to support just a few regional activities that bring together multiple SLC schools and their partnership schools and organizations.

4 SLC PARTNERSHIPS

Describe how you will leverage existing regional partnerships or create new ones to create leadership projects for SLC leadership projects. Please include the name of your targeted partners (e.g., name of K-12 schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations, professional organizations, community colleges, other colleges and universities). Note that you are encouraged to work with partners within your institution and department (e.g., work with office that manages mentoring or student success, or student engagement).

9 INSTITUTIONALIZATION

New Schools are encouraged to think about how they will institutionalize by their third year.

Continuing STARS are required to make substantial progress towards institutionalization to continue receiving support. Read Examples of Institutional Structures.
